The Canadian company BlacBerry returns to its roots and launches another BlackBerry Classic smartphone, which combines modernity and the company’s solutions for years with the Bold and Curve models. In other words, the device has a touch screen and a physical QWERTY keyboard.
All well known classic BlackBerry models such as Bold and Curve. Although the competition has already introduced the sale of modern smartphones, the Canadian company still offered phones with a relatively small screen and a full, comfortable keyboard.
This concept worked well, so the BlackBerry decided to come back and showcase the BlackBerry Classic. The smartphone is reminiscent of the older models, so it also has a large keyboard with a trackpad, but this time it has a 3.5-inch touch screen. This display has a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels at 294 PPI pixel density and 24-bit color depth. .
The BlackBerry Classic features a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of usable memory, which can be expanded with a 128 GB microSD card.
The manufacturer also installed an 8-megapixel rear camera with a five-piece F2.2 lens, while the front camera has a 2 megapixel camera that can record 720p movies. Other features included with the BlackBerry Classic include the Bluetooth 4.0 LE, WiFi, FM radio, NFC chip, six sensors and a battery that, on one charge, according to the manufacturer, provides 22 hours of hardware.
The smartphone operates on the company’s operating system, BlackBerry 10.3.1, which offers a convenient user interface with a bar of access to the most used applications. It also has a first digital assistant that can be handled by voice or text commands and will respond in the same way that the user communicates with them, ie voice commands and text-to-speech.
As far as app access is concerned, this is not a problem as BlackBerry Classic users can use both BlackBerryWorld and the Amazon App Store.
